If you co-signed multiple loans, or you are the primary borrower on a loan(s), you may choose how to allocate your payment across the loans.
Check or Money Order
Mail a check or money order made out to MOHELA. When paying by check or money order, you must include an additional document instructing MOHELA how to apply your payment. Specifically, these
instructions must include: (1) the 10-digit Account Number; and, (2) the specific Loan Sequence(s) to which MOHELA should apply your payment. (This process must be followed each time you make a payment by check or money order.)
If you make a payment by check or money order accompanied only by a payment coupon, your payment will be applied to each Loan Sequence displayed on the payment coupon.
Your payment address may be different based upon your specific account information. Please log in or call for your payment address. Paying by check or money order are the payment methods that take the longest to process.
